Hemisferio, the Journal of the IADC, aims to promote research on issues related to security and defense in the Western Hemisphere. It is an annual, non-profit journal with a multidisciplinary approach, which is affiliated to the academic program of this center of higher studies.
The spectrum of thematic areas is broad, thus contributing to the analysis of security and defense issues from different perspectives, such as: Strategic Thinking, International Relations, Political Economy, Forecasting Methodology, Geopolitics, Human Rights, Civil-Military Relations, Multidimensional Security, Cybersecurity, Defense and Security Policies, Development, Leadership, and Conflict Analysis and Resolution. The editorial team is comprised of specialists and researchers, both from the IADC and from outside the College, whose expertise in the topics covered in the journal makes them a key component in maintaining a quality control of the contents in papers published.
